Timeslips an Overview of Command Line Parameters

Timeslips offers command line parameters for convenience when starting the program. To use a command line parameter, add it to the command line of the icon that launches Timeslips.
The following command line parameters are available:
DB:
Function:
Opens the specified database, regardless of the last database opened in the previous Timeslips session.
Syntax:
“<Path to Timeslips.exe>”<space>”DB:<Path to Database>”
Example:
“C:\Program Files\Timeslips\Timeslip.exe” “DB:C:\Program Files\Timeslips\data01\Main.db”
PERS:
Function:
Defines the Timeslips preferences file (*.prf) that you want to use.
Syntax:
“<Path to Timeslips.exe>”<space>”PERS:<path to Timeslips preference file>”
Example:
“C:\Program Files\Timeslips\Timeslip.exe” “PERS:C:\MyPrefs.prf”
